Great Job St. Petes

The St Peter's boys hockey team finished 4th at the AAA/AAAA OFSAA Championships in Etobicoke after 2 hard fought losses on Friday.

In the semi-final game in the morning, the Saints lost 2-0 to Loyola of Mississauga. In the Bronze medal game, a 3-0 loss to Orangeville (with one in the empty net) secured 4th. In both games, goaltenders Nick Earnshaw (game 1) and Brad Sutton were outstanding.

However, so were the goaltenders of our opponents and despite numerous chances, the Saints could not buy a goal on Friday. St. Peter's was the only team to defeat gold medal winners Brother Andre of Markham who defeated Loyola 6-2 in the final.

The Saints goals against record of 9 goals in 7 games was a highlight of the week at OFSAA.
